Re: Set up a Website on your Synology Server
I use WordPress on one of my sites with WPForms, for emails, which has the features I described earlier. Synology is pretty good at supporting their packages but wish you luck at getting them to help with anything else. I get a server 504 error when uploading really large files to the MariaDB databa...

Re: Set up a Website on your Synology Server
Although I use phpmailer, I am not an expert on the subject. I am not aware of any user configuration requirements for mailparse or imap. These modules are usually included when php is compiled. If you have users that access DSM, Synology has a mail program allowing users to send emails. However, if...

Re: Set up a Website on your Synology Server
First, I also use two virtual hosts in many cases where I desire access with www and without www using the same domain name. Keep in mind DNS servers match the domain name you enter in the virtual host to the ip address. If something is missing from the virtual host domain name, the DNS servers will...

Re: Set up a Website on your Synology Server
You may have done this but I'll ask anyway, did you configure php?
Also your virtual host shows the domain as worldweb.pl but if you are using www the domain should be www.worldweb.pl.
When I click the link, in your post, I get this web site:

Log Configuration Error TNG v12.2
Before making changes, consider upgrading. This modification was corrected in TNG v12.3 TNG V12.2 has a non-critical error that occurs when you update the log configuration settings in the admin menu. It does not cause any user problems but generates an error when the log file settings are changed....

TNG Cache Statistics Page Mod
Everyone tries to improve speed and access to their website. However, given the nature of TNG's dynamic pages, speeding up this process is more difficult. I've found TNG statistics page is an exception as the page only changes when content is added and is not dependent on the user logging in or thei...

TNG Move Map Down Mod
When viewing an individual's page, the map is placed above media, notes and sources. This can be annoying when attempting to scroll down the page. If you pass over the map, the page may stop scrolling and the map zooms instead. This mod relocates the map to the bottom of the individual person page. ...

Configure ESET firewall for Synology Assistant Access
The newer versions of ESET may block the Synology Assistant. When this happens the assistant cannot find any devices on your network. However, this is simple to fix if you create a rule allowing Synology Assistant to scan your network and map drives. First load ESET and when the screen appears, sele...

Re: Problem with installation on DS916+ 8GB
It appears Synology REALLY LIKES php 5.6 even though it is obsolete. Unfortunately they have a few programs that still require this version. I sent a request asking them to update their programs, so I could delete php5.6, but never received a reply. One thing I forgot to mention is to run phpinfo.ph...

Re: Problem with installation on DS916+ 8GB
Nothing has changed. Are you using WordPress from Synology or WordPress.org? I ask because if you use the WordPress.org version you need to make sure you are using the correct socket. Also check the mysql.default_port in the php core configuration. Synology defaults to 3306 but MariaDB 10 uses 3307....
