I had the same issue with importing and also exporting large GEEDCOMs. I changed the backend to NGINX and they worked fine

So is there any reason to not simply change the backend server to NGINX on all TNG/DSM instances?

Belatedly coming back to this issue My problem is I can't run a local installation the NAS is 300 miles away. But if I'm using native TNG with no WordPress, can I not just switch from Apache to Nginx? I saw that I could in Web Station so I switched my test site. Regrettably it made no difference. :c...

The folder and database names were tng_live and tng_dev, hence the potential confusion.

But it's moot mow. So many unrelated issues started to emerge that I blew the whole live site away and reinstalled them from scratch

Yes I did and consequent the moving of the images is what breaks that link on the charts.

I found teh reason. There's a setting in setup > media "Separate media in tree folders (Y/N)". If you flip that AFTER media has neem associated to a person, it breaks the link to the chart. I've told Darrin.
